A new condo development aimed at the affordable rental housing market is coming to 63rd and Glendale avenues, south of Glendale High School.
Each of the 28 units at Glendale Enterprise Lofts will be three-bedroom, two-bath condos of 1,250 square feet. In addition, all units will be fully handicapped-accessible.
Rents will range from $521 to $790 per month and will be rented to income-eligible families earning between 40 and 60 percent of the area’s median income – about $23,000 to $46,000 per year.
The complex, slated to open in early 2011, will contain a theater, computer lab, community center, fitness center and washers and dryers inside each unit.
Glendale Enterprise Lofts is the first project in Arizona for developer Gorman & Company, which also has offices in Miami and Wisconsin.
